The current Sadministration says that more offshore drilling could increase oil production by 200,000 barrels per day by 2030. So, if we use about 20 million barrels per day, that would be about 1% of our demand two decades from now.
BUT, (oh the proverbial “but,”)
Ok, but keeping tires inflated, like Obama says, can improve gas mileage by 3%, and regular maintenance can add another 4%. Many drivers already follow his advice, but if everyone else did, and followed MY advise, we could reduce our consumption even more and we can do it NOW, not 20 years from now.
What say ye?
